Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SpanishJoy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SpanishJoy website and our live, one-on-one online Spanish tutoring services (the "Services"). SpanishJoy is operated by Creavista, Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). By booking a lesson, purchasing a package, or otherwise using the Services, you ("you," the parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms.

1. Who may use SpanishJoy

The Services are intended for children and are booked and paid for by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. By using the Services on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or guardian and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms for your household.

2. The Services

• Live, one-on-one online Spanish lessons with Ms. García, delivered by video.
• A free trial lesson, single lessons, multi-lesson packages, and an annual membership, as described on our site.
• Scheduling is handled through our booking system. Lessons take place over an online video platform.

You are responsible for providing a suitable device with a camera and a reliable internet connection, and for supervising your child as appropriate during lessons.

3. Booking, payment & renewals

• Payments for single lessons and packages are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
• Prepaid packages grant the number of lessons stated at the time of purchase.
• The Year-Round Membership is a subscription that renews automatically each year at the then-current rate until cancelled. You may cancel at any time before your renewal date.
• Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change from time to time; changes will not affect a package you have already purchased.

4. Rescheduling & cancellations

Rescheduling, cancellations, refunds, and our love-it guarantee are described in our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Expected conduct

We ask that lessons be a kind, respectful space for learning. We may pause or end the Services if there is abusive behavior, or if these Terms are misused.

6. Lesson materials

Any worksheets, activities, or materials we share are for your child's personal learning use only and may not be resold or redistributed.

7. No guaranteed outcomes

We care deeply about your child's progress and bring real experience to every lesson, but language learning depends on many factors. We do not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or fluency results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creavista, Inc. is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the lessons giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
